Bixly Ping Pong a.k.a. Table Tennis

Hey everyone....look what we have in the office! A Ping Pong table! That's right...thanks to the efforts by Bryant, Vana and Nick Bixly now has an official Ping Pong table for your enjoyment!

So for all of you who don't want to come into the office because you can work remotely...there's another reason why you should come...to play PING PONG!

If you do decide to come...there are masters here that I should tell you about. I've caught some of their moves on camera. Please be warned that these super awesome moves should not be performed by amateur pong enthusiasts. Remember, these are Masters of Pong performing these moves.

Nick's level 3 Super Saiyan Tornado Spin Attack move made Caleb move an inch to the right. It's the first that anyone's ever made Caleb move out of his position to get the ball. This was an intense battle!

Burgers and Fries!

Monday, everyone's favorite day to come to work, especially since Monday Luncheon was announced at Bixly's friendly office. Since it was just after Father's Day, we decided to get everyone what they like; hamburgers Bixly style!

Second Bixly Arcade Tournament

It's that time again! In case you weren't around for the first Bixly Arcade Tournament, we've decided to give everyone another chance to get acquainted with the Bixly Arcade. I built it, I want to share it with everyone...especially those that did not have the opportunity to play them in their childhood.

For this tournament, we are featuring the game: Puzzle Bobble 1. In case you've never heard of it, Puzzle Bobble is a strategy color matching puzzle game created in the 1990's for arcade addicts. The point of the game is to shoot the color ball that randomly appears on your arrow and match it with the already existing bubbles on various stages throughout the game. If 3 or more of the same color bubbles attach to each other, then all 3 bubbles will burst opening you up to other colors. It's not that simple though, there are strategies involved, geometry and precision is key to this game.

So, bring your steady hands (even graphing calculators) and join us at the Bixly office for some Bixly Arcade action! The fun starts Monday June 18th, 2012!

Unfortunately we have to have rules so here they are:

RULES to the 2nd Bixly Arcade Tournament featuring Puzzle Bobble:

* Puzzle Bobble Tournament is open to ALL employees of Bixly starting June 18th, 2012
   and will run until July 15th, 2012.
* Participating players DO NOT have to register to participate.
* Participants may play as many times as possible to obtain the highest score possible.
* Scores will only be valid when game is played on the Bixly Ultimate Arcade.
* Players may play on their own time when available but MUST NOT interfere with work.
* The top score will be displayed on top of the Bixly Ultimate Arcade. Players are
   responsible to record their scores if they beat the posted higher score and
   MUST have at least 1 (one) witness present to submit that score.
   NO WITNESS = NO SCORE. No Exceptions!
* The winner of the Puzzle Bobble Tournament and prize will be announced during
   luncheon on June 16th, 2012.
* PLEASE NOTE: There are many versions of Puzzle Bobble on the Bixly Arcade machine but
   the ONLY Puzzle Bobble 1 will count. Each players are responsible to make sure they are
   playing the correct version in STORY MODE (NOT versus mode). Cheaters and violators will be  
   immediately disqualified from the tournament.

We had Parmesan Chicken this Monday for our special Monday luncheon and I think it went rather well again. For those that still don't know...come in on Mondays to the office to enjoy the best lunches provided by Bixly!

Badminton in the office!!!

Forget the treadmill and sit-at-your-desk exercises, here at Bixly we go all out with a full sweaty game of Badminton. That's right, a half-court with a badminton net, birdie and rackets. Want to get your heart pumping? Let's play a one vs one or a two vs two game!
