If you didn't come to the Bixly meeting on Monday August 6th, you missed out! There was wonderful food being served prior to the meeting as well a a great update speech given by Adam, Caleb and Matt.
Adam spoke about various items that impacted us directly. Some of the items mentioned were; having a company goal of maintaining 75 clients, constant self improvement by asking "what have you learned this week" to others around you or to yourself and establishing a corporate mentality for employees where we all feel like an organization rather than individuals here. GREAT STUFF!
Caleb updated us with new activities that were coming up. Specifically, the Halo Night. Visit back soon for an upcoming poster or posting here on The Amazing Bixly Forum for the date and time this epic event will happen.
Matt had a whole lot to speak about. His topic was interesting and very important for all of us. He went over the safety hazards here at Bixly. Some of the items mentioned were exit routes, fire extinguisher introduction and general safety concerns. We all learned that having a dirty desk is not the most efficient way of working and it may cause a hazard to yourself and others around you...so keep those desks clean!
Lastly, there was also a small speech given by Ed Graveline or also referred to as the "health insurance guy". We were introduced to a new dental and vision plan. If you didn't get the pamphlet or want to sign up, contact Matt in our HR department!
The yummy Crispy Parmesan-Bread Crumb Oven Roasted Chicken went fast!
The 3 Cheese with Ricotta Baked Pasta Dish! Yummy!
We even had some salad for those veggie lovers too!
Here was the last few pieces of Garlic Bread.
Everyone was enjoying themselves at the Bixly Luncheon Meeting.
As you can see, everyone was listening and paying attention.
Here's Adam pointing out some important details during his speech.
Here is Matt giving his detailed speech on safety.
Again, everyone was paying attentive and listening. That's the Bixly way!
Here, Adam Cardenas says "good-bye" to his beloved cup he always uses. If you don't know, Adam Cardenas will be moving to Colorado for more schooling. Bye Adam, we will miss you. You were a great programmer here at Bixly.
After the meeting, it was Halo as usual. Jeremy V. is showing rookies what to do!
